10 Apr CICADA4CE, Al via i Laboratori Urbani per il cambiamento climatico alla Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi!
L’Agenzia di sviluppo LAMORO ha organizzato il meeting transnazionale del progetto CICADA4CE finanziato dal programma Interreg Central EUROPE 2021-2027. L’incontro si è svolto a Stupinigi, nella meravigliosa cornice della Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi il 20 marzo 2025. La genesi di questo progetto è l’impatto dei cambiamenti climatici nelle aree urbane, una sfida globale la quale non viene gestita in modo ottimale riducendo drasticamente l’efficienza dell’attuazione delle politiche urbane.
L’evento ha segnato il lancio dell’Urban Living Lab (ULL) a Nichelino, l’area pilota nell’ambito di CICADA4CE. Dopo il benvenuto dato alla platea e ai partner da parte del Sindaco di Nichelino dott. Giampiero Tolardo, il capofila IETU ( The Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas ) ha fornito un’introduzione al progetto. In seguito tre esperti hanno approfondito temi cruciali sull’adattamento ai cambiamenti climatici:
- Metrologo, Climatologo e Dirigente Ricerca Andrea Merlone – INRIM (Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica) ha parlato dell’adattamento ai cambiamenti climatici
- Prof. Federica Larcher – Dipartimento di Scienze Agrarie, Forestali e Alimentari (DISAFA) Università di Torino ha esplorato le Soluzioni Basate sulla Natura (NBS) per la resilienza urbana
- Prof. Ombretta Caldarice – Politecnico di Torino ha discusso su come accelerare la resilienza urbana, integrando il cambiamento climatico nelle politiche urbane.
Capofila di CICADA4CE è l’Istituto per l’Ecologia delle aree industriali (IETU) con sede in Polonia, mentre la LAMORO è partner di progetto. Sono inoltre coinvolti soggetti di altri paesi come , Slovenia, Germania, Italia e Repubblica Ceca.

LAMORO Development Agency organized the interregional meetinf of the CICADA4CE project, funded by the Interreg Central EUROPE 2021-2027 program. The event took place in Stupinigi, in the beautiful setting of the Stupinigi Hunting Lodge, on March 20, 2025. The genesis of this project stems from the impact of climate change in urban areas, which is a global challenge that is not being managed optimally, thus drastically reducing the effectiveness of urban policy implementation.
The event marked the launch of the Urban Living Lab (ULL) in Nichelino, the pilot area of CICADA4CE. After a welcome address from the Mayor of Nichelino, Dr. Giampiero Tolardo, the project leader IETU (The Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas) provided an introduction to the project.
Three keynotes then delved into crucial topics on climate change adaptation by:
- Metrologist, Climatologist, and Research Manager Andrea Merlone – INRIM (National Institute of Metrological Research) spoke about climate change adaptation.
- Prof. Federica Larcher – Department of Agricultural, Forest, and Food Sciences (DISAFA) at the University of Turin explored Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) for urban resilience.
- Prof. Ombretta Caldarice – Polytechnic University of Turin discussed how to accelerate urban resilience by integrating climate change into urban policies.
The project leader of CICADA4CE is the Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas (IETU) based in Poland, while LAMORO is a project partner. Other countries involved include Slovenia, Germany, Italy, and the Czech Republic.
